-University of Tennessee Bachelor of  Fine Arts Major with a 2D concentration.

 

-Completed an Independent study with UT assistant professor of painting and drawing, Mary Laube. During the study I applied practices in various forms of  expression through art. 

 

*Expanded various forms of expression through technical skill building.

 

*Digging deeper into the intellectual and conceptual ideas which are associated with painting.

 

*Greater education and practices in various techniques involving acrylic painting and other mediums. 

 

*Increased mental focus to further self-exploration and expression.

*Increased  knowledge on the professional aspects of the art world, such as pricing pieces, selling and shipping, internships, residency, curating, and teaching.
